EU Policies & Issues

The current EU Budget envelope continues until 2020 and the UK Government has agreed to honour its commitments and continue to pay into the Budget.  Under the current arrangements, projects can spend up to 2023 or 2024 according to the individual programmes.

Preliminary discussions about the Budget have started through the Multi Annual Financial Framework.   With the UK leaving the EU, this will be a particularly challenging Budget Settlement.  European Policy Solutions will keep readers up to date with budget developments.   We will also look at Brexit and the way in which the UK may wish to enter EU programmes post 2020.

European Policy Solutions has a specific interest in the following areas:

  • Hydrogen Fuel Cells and Electro-Mobility
  • Research, Development and Innovation
  • Maritime Policy
  • Low Carbon Economy
  • Transport
  • EU Structural Funds
  • Brexit

There are policy developments in all these areas and European Policy Solutions will keep you up-to-date through the News Section and Briefing Notes.
